The Joyful Prairie is encased in a beautiful dark oak frame. Each hour the face splits in two and revolves around while being dazzled by the rotating crystal pendulum and while one of 30 beautiful melodies play. The melodies include 12 hymns, 12 classical, and 6 Christmas melodies. Clock is battery quartz operated and batteries are included.
